There are many women at St Mark’s, and we love to encourage each other in groups and as friends. Some of the things we formally do for women are:
Craftworks @ St Marks
Craftworks @ St Marks is a friendly creative group that enjoys cross-stitch, quilting, tapestry, sewing, knitting, tatting, embroidery, découpage, painting etc. Bring along your handcraft project and make some new friends!
Women to Women
Come to be encouraged by the life and stories of other women! Woman to Women events occur each term and include women from each of our congregations who gather to share afternoon tea and life experiences. To hear about the next event coming up, listen out at church, call the church office or check “New & Events” posts on the our website.
Coffee Beans Women’s Bible Study
Our women’s growth group is called Coffee Beans and is held on Thursday mornings from 9.45am - 11.45am during term.
We share morning tea and fellowship, and study the Bible together. The group meets together for a number of social activities during the year both for the women and with the family. Our aim is support each other as women as we live out our faith in our daily lives.
