18 February: Ash Wednesday

Please join us at 7 pm on Wednesday, 18 February, for our Ash Wednesday service. This is a service where we will share in the Lord’s Supper as well as having the simple imposition of the ashes with the sign of the cross. In this way we are very tangibly reminded that our lives are bound up with God and it is through Jesus’ death on our behalf that we are saved and are in a relationship with God. We belong to God and live for Him, but that is only through the cross. Ash Wednesday also represents the beginning of Lent, the season where we reflect, and prepare before celebrating Easter.
